From memorable first-year milestones to a fun themed one-year cake smash, there are so many fun ways to celebrate your baby’s first year. Each of my sessions is unique to you and your little one. I aim to capture their ever-changing personality, showcasing their amazing and quirky ways.

George's mom liked the idea of using greenery in his session. We came up with this brick wall and cluster of plants for sort of an urban loft feel, and I love how it came out.
Jack's Cake Smash
Jack's nursery has a Peter Rabbit theme. I found the cutest little wheelbarrow and picket fence, then used fresh vegetables to fill out the scene!
Lucy's Cake Smash
Lucy's mom wanted a simple cake smash with flowers. I think these hoops did the trick! Although Lucy wasn't much of a fan of the sticky frosting, we still got a lot of cute photos!
Chezney's Sitter session
Chezney is just full of personality. I absolutely loved her session and her bright, happy demeanor. The photo of her with the purple flower bonnet is one of my all time faves.
David's sitter session
David is the cutest! We used that sailboat in his newborn session too. It's fun to choose a prop that can be used at different sessions to compare how baby changes in size.
aria's sitter session
Look at those curls! I got to photograph Aria for newborn, sitter and cake smash sessions, and she just got cuter and cuter every time I saw her.
Milestone Sessions
Somewhere in the middle of the first year, most babies reach the sitting milestone. I am here to celebrate it! These are some of my favorite sessions because it’s generally a really happy time for babies. I provide the cute outfits and sets, then put baby center stage and get silly to bring out the big smiles. My rendition of Baby Shark gets them every time.
Cake Smash Sessions
Hooray, hooray! I love to make a big fuss over baby’s first birthday! It’s a three part session – smile, smash and splash. I start with classic portraits in a cute outfit, then it’s time for a cake smash. I provide a decorated set plus a bakery cake, and get fantastic photos while your little one goes to town on it. When it’s time for cleanup, I bring out the cutest little clawfoot tub and it’s splash time! If you don’t want baby to have cake, just let me know and I’ll come up with another fun way to celebrate!
We have decided to name Laura the Modern Fairy Godmother of Newborns. She waves her magic camera, employs an unbelievable array of props and then blows pixie dust and stars into her photos. We are thrilled. Each time we look at Laura’s photos we fall in love with the baby all over again. It is apparent that Laura comes with years of experience. Her creativity is unsurpassed. She matches parents’ preferences with her seemingly bottomless cupboard of artistic items. In our session, which lasted for hours, we marveled at her newborn patience, care and skill. She is a master of artful swaddling. Yes, it is a thing! And, had I not seen it for myself, I wouldn’t have believed that she could coax a smile out of a sleeping infant. She makes even the jowly sleepy pouts look adorable. Laura is able to capture newborn nuances that we didn’t know existed until we received the photos. - Jeannie
